We were so honoured to style tennis greats such as Ms Chris Evert and Ms Eugenie Bouchard for their publicity blitz in Singapore for Women's Tennis Association (WTA).
Here are some moments behind the scenes!

L'oreal Paris launches a brand new super liner Blackbuster for those who like an intensely bold look.
To showcase the wonders of Blackbuster, I met with various beauty and lifestyle bloggers at an exclusive event to test the super liner together.
We were excited to create a makeup look inspired by Katniss Everdeen of Hunger Games using Blackbuster.
What's so amazing about the BLACKBUSTER?
TIP #1: Unique Tip Marker Pen
Blackbuster's unique felt tip applicator is inspired by the marker pen, designed for ease of control and uniformly glides across the eyes. The versatility of the pen creates thin and thick lines just in one sweep.
TIP #2: Fade proof Technology
Superliner Blackbuster is infused with a vivid black ink formula that delivers up to 8 hours of hold. It is also easy to remove so you won't have to tug at your eyelids too much when you clean it off.
Personally, I love it because it gives incredible control and beginners will find it exceedingly easy to use!
We used Loreal Paris Colour Riche Les Ombres and of course, Blackbuster, to define Jessica's gorgeous peepers!
The Blackbuster retails at $20.90 each at Watsons, Guardian, SASA, selected departmental stores and super/hypermarkets.
Special thanks to Loreal Paris Singapore, Jessica (tippytapp.blogspot.sg) and Minru (www.missrusty.net).

Lunasol provides FREE eye and lip makeover!
I am privileged to have another opportunity to collaborate with Lunasol. This time, Lunasol and I visited the bloggers at Natural Beauty Basic's event and pampered the ladies with beauty makeovers using colours from Lunasol's Spring 2013 collection.
Like Lunasol, Natural Beauty Basic hails from Japan; it specialises in fashion wear that is trendy and wearable for all occasions. Besides clothes, it also sells bags, shoes and other accessories. In fact, the shoes look so good and felt so comfortable that I actually bought 3 pairs of them right after the event! :)
Personally, I am a big fan of Lunasol's FULL GLAMOUR LIQUID LIPS gloss; the gloss gives a nice sheen to the lips, is not sticky and is pigmented enough to hide mild to moderate unevenness in lip colour. The colour effect is very natural and does not feel heavy on the lips at all. It is definitely one of the best lip gloss that I have tried.
Lunasol's Spring 2013 eyeshadows come in varying shades but all are very flattering for Asian skin tone. Blue is a particularly tricky colour to wear (it's easy to look over-the-top or worse- cheap, if you don't blend it well) but the blue featured in this collection is highly blendable and is very flattering for Asian skin tone. You can even blend the bright colour (at the top right corner of every quadrant) with a shimmery light shade beside it to achieve varying tones. The colours will appear very subtle and refined; it is easy to achieve a polished and wearable look with this collection.
Lunasol's Spring 2013 Collection is available at all Lunasol counters at major department stores.
It was fantastic to meet with participants of Lunasol's Glow Purification Makeup Workshop to teach them how to use its Spring 2013 makeup collection to create the latest beauty looks.
So why Glow Purification? Lunasol's products (which are Japanese in origin) are known to be very flattering for Asian skin tones. Its foundation is very light in texture and contains pigments which brighten dull, sallow skin. If your skin tone is particularly 'yellow', it should work great for you. It's easy for anyone to achieve glowing, beautiful looking skin with it!
Thank you Lunasol for this opportunity!
The Style Atelier Network is honoured to have the opportunity to work on the 'Floral Extravaganza' Fashion Show for Singapore Garden Festival 2012.
It took us a few weeks to prepare for this show, and the process includes taking our client's brief, preparing mock-ups, meeting for discussion, participating in the models' fittings, sourcing for the right tools and products for the show, training our fellow artisans for the event, etc.
But at the end of day, we were really happy with the outcome and the show was a success! :)
We provided styling for the central characters of this creative fashion show, namely: Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Soil and Gaia.

I was so excited and honoured to have the opportunity to style Ms Tang Na's hair and makeup when she flew into Singapore for a performance with Singapore Chinese Orchestra last week.
Working with Ms Tang Na was truly inspiring as she epitomises beauty within and without. She is absolutely gracious and elegant in person and a sheer joy to work with. (Thank you Ms Tang Na and your manager Ms Lolla for your kind support. :))
PS: Hope to share some official pictures of Ms Tang Na's perfomance later if I receive them! :)
With Special Thanks:
Thank you Guerlain for sponsoring the makeup to this event.
Please come and support the actual flora fashion show on 14 July 2012, this Saturday, at 2.30pm or 5.30pm at Singapore Garden Festival, Suntec City Convention Hall, level 4 stage area. See you there! :)

I cannot believe that I have been away from the blogosphere for a month! Various happenings occurred in June and I can't wait to share them with you guys. First, let me update about one fantastic project which The Style Atelier is currently working on.
We have the joy of dolling up the adorable mascots of Singapore Garden Festival 2012 as they travel around various parts of Singapore to spread news of the event. Last week, we followed the characters to Gardens By The Bay where they entertained the crowd.
Earlier in the month, they also danced their way into a flash mob outside Mandarin Gallery at Orchard Road.
Last night, I was at the exhibition venue of Singapore Garden Festival to meet with the models of the event's fashion show (yes! there will be a floral fashion show on 14 July 2012 for Singapore Garden Festival- please come and support us! :)), and the flowers are SO. BEAUTIFUL. Here's just a little sneak peak from the entrance of the exhibition:
My picture can hardly do justice to the magnificent and breath-taking sight that I witnessed in the event hall. The entire event hall was being transformed into a magical garden of flowers and nature. This event happens only once every two years so don't miss it :) You would need to buy tickets to enter the venue though. Hope to see you there! :)
