Simple! Try wearing falsies!
Wearing a nice pair of falsies really helps to open the peepers. I know many people recommend mascara, but the truth is, many Chinese women (including myself) have lashes which are almost non-existent, so using mascara really doesn't help very much. Wearing fake lashes on the other hand adds to your existing ones (thus you naturally have a 'mascara-ed' effect) and best of all- you don't have to worry about smudges!
Today, Andrea and I put Tokyo Lash Collection from Star Lash to the test.
Which should Andrea try? We decided on Namie, for a girlier appeal.
We love that the lash bone is transparent, thus making it look more natural on the eyes. Eyelash glue is also included in the package.
Because the length of lashes from this collection is already cut to suit most Asian eyes, there was no need for Andrea to trim the falsies.
How then to apply?
#1: Apply a thin layer of glue to the transparent lash bone.
#2: Affix the lashes just above your real eyelashes.
Do not worry about the glue looking white on your lids for the first 2 minutes. The glue should dry and turn transparent eventually.
And ta-da! There you have it! It's done!

I managed to apply falsies from Tokyo Lash Collection on myself within 1 minute. Andrea and I wore the lashes to a party and they stayed on nicely throughout the night!
