Joy Tan

Joy Tan is the founder of The Style Atelier, a boutique consultancy dedicated to elevating executive presence, personal branding, and communication finesse for leaders and luxury brands across Asia.
Before founding The Style Atelier, Joy lectured in tertiary institutions for over a decade, specialising in communications and learning design. Today she designs and facilitates WSQ-accredited programmes that blend psychology, communication, and aesthetics — empowering professionals to project confidence and authenticity in every interaction.
Renowned for her expertise in beauty and brand storytelling, Joy has collaborated with global names such as Chanel, Celavive, Avène, Shu Uemura, Max Factor, L'Oréal Professionnel, etc, to craft educational campaigns and experiential activations for consumers, media and/or industry professionals in Singapore and/or across the region.
A creative at heart, Joy is also an accomplished makeup and hair artist who continues to bridge the worlds of education and beauty with her signature balance of sophistication and substance.
Violet Chan
M.Ed, BA(Merit), ACTA, Problem-based Learning Certified Educator
Violet started her career in education at the Executive Education arm of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, where she managed the flagship Senior Management Programme. Inspired by the impact of lifelong learning, she went on to lecture in the polytechnics and university for the next ten years.
At The Style Atelier, Violet thrives on sharing her expertise in education, business protocol, as well as professional makeup and hairstyling with clients. Together with Joy, she has customised programmes for notable clients like Frasers Property Vietnam, Ministry of Defence Singapore, SATS, LinkedIn, Microsoft and Disneyland Hong Kong, among others.
Violet embraces her dual role as a working professional and a mother to two teenagers, and believes that women can be empowered to succeed in both arenas.
