Our Philosophy

We believe that well-being is cultivated from the simplest things- being curious, open to growth and uplifted by good relationships.

Hence, we endeavour to create a safe and inclusive environment for all to partake in the joys of lifelong learning and personal development.

Unique to The Style Atelier, our programmes are focused on

self-culturedness and self-discovery.

Joy Tan

BA(Hons), PGDE (Distinction), Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach

Winner, Shu Uemura Beauty Art Makeup Competition 2016

Joy lectured in tertiary institutions for a decade before she ran The Style Atelier full-time with her partner, Violet. Realising that soft skills are the new hard skills in a world that is increasingly challenged by volatility and ambiguity, Joy develops creative programmes as well as engages in psychometric coaching to help individuals thrive amidst the changing landscape with savoir faire.

As an accomplished makeup and hair artist, Joy has also worked with many international beauty brands such as Max Factor, Guerlain, Nivea, Revlon, etc, to educate consumers, media and KOLs on the art of beauty.

Joy loves art and in her free time, she explores museums to seek inspirations for her projects.
